Retail Tour in Milan with MiRT

A journey to find retail concepts, iconic brands and products, and production techniques that are built on a firm tradition and narrate these distinctive factors.

The heritage concept is not a jail that dooms you to rely on the past, but an extremely valuable element that, when smartly used, allows the customer to be part of a highly memorable experience.

Elena Rusinenti, Marketing Director Rolex Italia: “Engaging our resellers, the aim was to handle the heritage theme in a more contemporary context, where the customer's needs seem highly changeable. We believe it was a valuable experience, as it allowed the resellers to learn how to value the historical importance of their shops, merging the high technological value of our products with the complexity of a market that is constantly changing. The qualified MiRT team was able to create a tailor-made itinerary, where ideas and opinions were exchanged in a spontaneous and useful way.”

The tour was focused on the development of light design in a store and the kind of atmosphere and shopping experience it creates.

4 types of illumination were identified, FUNCTIONAL, WOW EFFECT, ARTIFICIAL and NATURAL, and every location was associated with one of them.

“FUNCTIONAL” contrasts with “WOW EFFECT”, which creates a surprise effect. “NATURAL”, thanks to the multisensory experience, contrasts with “ARTIFICIAL”, distinguished by its technological dimension and synthetic materials.
